The Easter Bunny has been spotted by many drivers on the Northway according to reports which have been coming in all morning. According to his press agent, Mr. Easter Bunny will be arriving at Powers Park on Saturday, April 3. His ETA is 12 p.m.
The iconic Mr. Bunny has long been a favorite of children worldwide, and will be making his only scheduled appearance in the Capital District with his stop in Lansingburgh.
The annual Egg Hunt at Powers Park is now in it's 5th year, and has become a much anticipated event for the children within the community. More than 2,500 plastic Easter eggs will be hidden in and around Powers Park this year. Organizers of the event have promised that every child will leave with candy. Gift certificates from both Stewart's Shops & Snowman will also be hidden around the park. Children ages, 1-12 are invited to attend.
Powers Park is located on Second Ave at 110th St. Google map at 420 Second Ave for directions. The annual event begins at 12 p.m. tomorrow.
