More To Do On A Saturday Night In Troy:

After the River St. Festival, make your way up to the 'Frear Park Thunderdome' for another exciting bout of roller derby, provided by the Hellions of Troy -- our city's entry in the women's professional roller derby league.
Just for the record, the Hellions have won their first two home bouts of the young season. Their style has been consistent with their team philosophy, playing lightning fast, brutal and aggressive. The women's sport has seen two enthusiastic crowds at both of their home games. The antics and athleticism of the team, along with some ,let's just say, very colorful members of the team, have been accepted and embraced by the Hellions growing fan base in Troy.

Doors open Saturday evening at 6 p.m., with the bout against the Long Island Roller Rebels beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $12 at the door for adults, $3 for children under 12 yrs old. A portion of the proceeds of the bout will be donated to the Lansingburgh Boys and Girls Club. So come on out and join, the Beirut Bombshell, Flexi Wheeler and the the girls for all the fun, right here in your hometown, Troy.

FYI: The Hellions will be making a special appearance at Riverfest at 11 a.m.
