If you're looking for some fun this weekend, go no further than Troy. First on my list of events to invite you to attend, is Troy's German Hall ( Germania Hall) Annual German Festival, beginning at 12 p.m. on Saturday, September 12th.
From noon to 9 p.m, rain or shine, enjoy German Worst, hot dogs, German potato salad, funnel cake, and strudel as you sip some of their fine German beers. There will be entertainment beginning at 12 p.m. with Peggy Vogt, and Paul Slusar from 3 - 6 p.m.
German dancers will also perform, with audience participation as part of the program.
Organizers are asking everyone to come early and stay late! Admission is $2 per person over the age of 12. For additional information, contact Germania Hall at 237-5008.
The hall is located at 309 Third Ave. at 107th St.
